I grown up in Melaka Tengah district, and spent my 22 years there till I’ve completed my tertiary education. From North South Expressway, there’s no exit named Melaka; you got to look for Ayer Keroh exit, if you’re coming to Melaka town.

I spend my weekdays in PJ as I’m currently working there, and travel back to Melaka every weekend, except if there’s a weekend makan trip scheduled Many people are shocked to hear that I’m traveling back to Melaka from PJ every Friday evening, but well, I have the following reasons:

1. My mum and gf are in Melaka
2. It takes only about 1 and a half hour to travel between Melaka and KL
3. Decent pace of living style in Melaka: there’s no chaotic traffic jam, and traveling from 1 place to another within Melaka takes only an average of 15 minutes.
4. Decent living cost: I will spend a lot more on every meal in PJ. In comparison, a meal I spend on myself in PJ, can easily afford a 2-person meal in Melaka hehe
5. Full of photography opportunities: if I have a bit of time for myself, simply carry my camera to the historical town, and I can easily spend 2 hours there
6. Home-cooked foods: mum will prepare her fantastic signature dishes, as well as herbal tonics to “maintain our engines” :p

Aren’t the above mentioned reasons enough to justify the worthiness?

I’m currently working in a public-listed software development company specializing in development and integration of portal technologies. Sorry la… this clue is quite narrowed liao, I wouldn’t name the company in my blog This is my first job since my day 1 (year 2005) in workforce.

Work aside, traveling and photography is now part of my life. No la… I’m not a professional photographer, but just merely an enthusiast. I don’t even have a DSLR yet, but Canon 40D is my target now (a wish which is yet to be realized). I’m currently shooting with Panasonic Lumix FZ30, bought in Aug 2006.
